What User Experience Means to Me

To me, great design is almost invisible. It works so naturally that users can achieve their goals without consciously thinking about the interface. When design is effective, it removes friction and allows people to focus on what they want to accomplish rather than how to use the product.

My approach to design is rooted in empathy, iteration, and feedback-driven improvement. I believe that strong user experiences are created through understanding user needs, testing ideas, and continuously refining solutions. Whether I’m improving a complex Learning Management System interface or prototyping a new user flow, I focus on creating solutions that prioritize clarity, simplicity, and meaningful impact.

As a UX/UI Designer, I specialize in creating seamless and accessible digital experiences that balance functionality with visual clarity. My work often sits at the intersection of design and learning, where intuitive interfaces play a key role in engagement and usability. With a background in full-stack software development and instructional design, I bring a holistic perspective to user-centered design and collaborate effectively across both technical and creative teams.

Projects Completed

Project 1: EdTech Learning Experience Design

Project Overview

Designed and improved digital learning experiences within an internal Learning Management System (LMS) to help financial and customer service teams navigate training more effectively. The project focused on applying Learning Experience Design (LXD) principles to structure learning pathways, improve content navigation , and enhance learner engagement. By treating the LMS environment as a digital learning ecosystem, the goal was to reduce friction in accessing training materials and guide learners through clear, structured learning journeys.

Key Contributions

  • Designed learner-centered course structures and learning pathways that supported progressive skill development.
  • Improved LMS navigation and content hierarchy to make learning resources easier to find and follow.
  • Applied Learning Experience Design frameworks to reduce cognitive load and improve engagement.
  • Collaborated with stakeholders to align training structures with organizational learning objectives.
  • Promoted usability and accessibility improvements across learning modules and internal training environments.

Project Outcome

The redesigned learning experience resulted in improved learner navigation and engagement within the LMS environment. Clearer course structures and streamlined content organization reduced learner drop-off and increased completion rates. The project strengthened the connection between training design, user experience, and business learning outcomes, creating a more effective and scalable digital learning ecosystem.

Project 2: UX/UI Website Design for Learning Platforms

Project Overview

Led UX/UI design improvements for internal learning platforms by redesigning key interface components such as learning dashboards, course catalogs, and onboarding interfaces. The goal was to improve usability, visual consistency, and overall platform navigation by applying modern website design and UX principles. The project involved creating wireframes, prototyping new UI layouts, and collaborating with stakeholders to align design improvements with user needs and organizational goals. The project focused on transforming the learning platform into a clear, intuitive web experience that enables users to easily browse, discover, and access training resources.

Key Contributions

  • Designed wireframes and UI layouts for learning dashboards, course catalog pages, and onboarding interfaces.
  • Improved information architecture and navigation systems to enhance course discoverability.
  • Conducted stakeholder workshops and UX reviews to map user journeys and identify usability issues.
  • Streamlined the design of training forms and internal learning pages to improve completion rates and accessibility.
  • Contributed to the development of a consistent UI design system across learning platforms.

Project Outcome

The redesigned interface improved usability, navigation clarity, and visual consistency across learning platforms. Users were able to locate training materials more efficiently, leading to increased course enrollments and reduced support queries. The project also contributed to a more scalable and cohesive UX/UI framework for internal learning websites.
